Mi papa grows a big moose tush.
He carries it all around the house.
He carries it always when taking a bath;
Or when he prays before sleeping.
He never takes it off.
Even when he cleans the dishes,
and when he feeds the pets.
He reads the newspaper with
his big moose tush on,
every single day.
He eats his breakfast with it on.
He trims it clean with blade and cream.
I love mi papa's moose tush.
That's what mi mama calls it.
A big and terrible moose tush.
Mi papa calls it mouse tush

Gravity
I made a sound that irked the elders,
Gravity made words fall apart on dark
unbelieving souls.
There was a closet of madness…
a stranglehold of emptiness…
swaying with the chords…
weaved in scrupulous downbeat.
“Truth is…”, cracked a madman
holding a book with torn up pages.
“…Dear that was knowledge
that came from nowhere…”

Newborn
We followed each other's existence
like the wind,
They came and went.
The party of sung apocalypse
went on in parcel of dreams;
'Twas thrown to our houses
each night we slept.
At one moment from that simple
yet obscure point of origin
our souls fired away -
burning the skies with
diffused colours of orange and red;
We never knew the past
Nor had we known the future.
Only the present mattered.
The children dreamt of that place
they once called home;
Fathers and forefathers
were oblivious of history;
We never came to know each other's name
and each other's favorite songs.
All the laws of the physical world
shattered like a fragile glass.
We were undressed like a newborn.
Innocent were we.
Faith dead like that of a soldier's -
Houses burned with fire,
Nurtured with memories -
lethargic and vain.
Equilibrium.
We slept for centuries.
We never knew the past
Nor had we known the future.
But we only lived at that single point in time
where we dreamt about good memories
of each other's existence,
and we were breathing,
we were speaking each other's name.
We were back to the beginning...
like the wind,
They came and went.
The party of sung apocalypse
went on in parcel of dreams;
'Twas thrown to our houses

Short
I didn't want to go there
where there was emptiness
and souls did not have a home
nor their bodies sacred
and emotions tired.
We sang a beautiful melody,
Nobody listened.
Then the devil spoke of wisdom,
the earth followed.
O God, the dead cried!
They shouted praise in reply.
They didn't know music
They didn't even know how to dance
They'd never spoken the truth
The devil it spoke of love
It spoke of romance
and dear God, a mother cried!
She shouted praise in reply.
The saints they prayed
They shouted Hallelujah...
"God, please give us truth!"
where there was emptiness
and souls did not have a home
nor their bodies sacred
and emotions tired.
We sang a beautiful melody,
Nobody listened.
Then the devil spoke of wisdom,
the earth followed.
O God, the dead cried!
They shouted praise in reply.

They didn't even know how to dance
They'd never spoken the truth
The devil it spoke of love
It spoke of romance
and dear God, a mother cried!
She shouted praise in reply.
The saints they prayed
They shouted Hallelujah...
"God, please give us truth!"

Time
Time is fundamental element of the universe. We slice time into thin equal strips called seconds. Consecutive seconds in juxtaposition are called moments. We had these notions because time is real. Time is no illusion. We measure our individual ages in years. We measure speed by the amount of space covered by an object in a specific amount of time. In music, we have this so-called time signatures. Human intelligence did not invent time. Time is there since the beginning of the universe.
But when did time exist? Was there no time when the universe wasn't existing yet? Or has the universe really come from nothing to this huge mass of matter and antimatter? Why is there a necessity for time? Was time created with space?

Paanong tayo’y napadpad sa ilang?
Paanong tayo’y napadpad sa ilang?
Hinihip sa hangi’t hayo sa kawalan.
Nang sanlaksang punla ng isang maylalang
Sakop ang liwanag-taon bagkus maunawaan
Sumilip ang liwanag at bumutas ng langit
Kumulay ang oras sa balat ng espasyo
Namamaklang tubig dayuha’t pintasin
Ngunit paglao’y maharlikang naging
Naglunsad ang hari ng kanyang mga piging
Sa bawat sulok ng arkipelagong angkin
At kinamkam ang kilala’t mga tagong lupain
Buhat umusbong sanlibong relihiyon
Dumatal kasama ang ‘sang milyong poon
Batid sa labi sa pilosopiyang tugon
Sa sanlaksang walang kasagutang tanong
Magmumula sa langit, sa ibabaw ng ulap
Propetang dakila’t may tangan na aklat
Sa ulo nakaputong ang katotohanan
Bigkas ang awitin ng mga pilosopo
Pisiko, kimiko, mekaniko, puta, at musikero
Politiko
Ililibing ang buhay at bubuhayin ang nakalibing
Sisiklab ng apoy sa dagat ng kamangmangan
Pipintahan ng dugo ang sining ng bawat
Sisilanging sanggol
Tuturuang magiliw ng agham
Ang propeta’y bulaan
Tangan ang kasagutan
Sa mga walang kasagutang tanong
Waksi sa katotohanan
Bigkas niyang magiliw
Sa tamis at pagkakakilanlan
ng lahi ng alipin
Ang lahi ng mga bayani,
Mga santo’t banal
Ang propeta’y bulaan…
